Dave Glewwe (Gamer): Born 1948 in St Paul, Minnesota began gaming with his cousin George at age 10. They played with plastic toy soldiers on the floor of their living rooms. Dave received his first “real” wargame in 1966 Avalon Hill’s “Battle of the Bulge” and was hooked on the hobby. Dave moved to Sioux Falls and met Jim Lurvey and others from the Great Plains Game Players (the forerunner of many gaming groups in the I-29 corridor) in 1974. He married June that same year (skipped GenCon to get married!). Dave has played all sorts of games and in all genres. Board games, Miniatures, RPG and LARP, as well as L5R CCG. His current interests are miniatures, board games and 1st edition D&D which he runs as a campaign at USD at the Games Club every other Wednesday night. He travels to many local cons during the year and runs all sorts of games and tournaments.
Fredd Gorham (Artist): Fredd is a comic book and games illustrator who, for the past 25 years has worked for a wide variety of companies. His work has appeared in publications from Marvel, DC Comics, Steve Jackson Games, Caliber Press, White Wolf, Hero Games, Silver Gryphon, Viceroy Cards, Breygent and Albino Dragon Games to name a few. Fredd will be taking commissions at the convention in both traditional media (pen & ink on paper) and digital media.
On the third Saturday of every month, Fredd hosts the Artist Jam at Krypton Comics in Omaha! Fredd also does an artcast on Google+ and so much more! He has been a mainstay at Cons in Sioux City for years!
