Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator @ Tri-Con Spring

Yep, it’s back!  Richard Norton will be bringing his equipment to Tri-Con Spring 2015 so you can enjoy epic Starship Battles in true Sci-Fi fashion.  If you ever wondered what it would be like to helm a spaceship, man the weapons, be a communications officer, hey this is for you!  Several different roles you can choose from, each has it’s own computer station that all link up and interact with each other and a main viewscreen, a truly epic game.

This game will be run all weekend long!  So you’ll have numerous opportunities to play it.  This game is a hit at every Convention and is very addictive.  Come try it out!

Tri-Con Fall 2015 Announcement

First off, this is about our Fall Convention over Labor Day Weekend (Sept 4th-7th).  This does NOT pertain to Tri-Con Spring 2015.

Tri-State Gamers has reached an agreement with the Sioux City Hotel (under new ownership, name change pending) to host our Fall Convention there.  We have also reached a tentative agreement to host all of our conventions there going forward.  The Hotel is very excited to have us and help them grow and help us grow as well.  This should be a very mutually beneficial agreement.

I’m even more excited to announce special room rates for our attendees!  Room nights will be available for only $59 per night!  No, I’m not kidding.  $59 per night!  They’re also undergoing a lot of renovations and updates to the hotel and that should all be done by the time we host our convention.  We’ll have more info in the months ahead.  In the meantime, back to preparing for Tri-Con Spring 2015!  Thanks!

Yet Another… Play-To-Win…

At Tri-Con Spring 2015 we are pleased to be giving away a copy of Sentinel Tactics!  This skirmish/scenario based system takes Sentinels of the Multiverse to a new level.  Greater Than Games has also sent us some pre-painted minis that you’ll be able to win at the Convention as well if you already own the game.  Thanks to Greater Than Games for provided us support for our Con!

Sentinel Tactics: The Flame of Freedom is a tactical combat game that uses a hex grid map to represent terrain. Each player controls one or more heroes or villains, each of which has unique powers. Combat is based on the rolling of six-sided dice. Whereas Sentinels of the Multiverse is a fully cooperative game, Sentinel Tactics is a team-based game. Groups of players will cooperate against either a villain player or against another team of players, so while the game is competitive, cooperation and teamwork are still vital to the gameplay.”
